Osceola County Animal Services needs the public’s help in identifying the individuals responsible for animal abandonment to the pictured dog. The dog was found on 9/15/14 near a field on Oak St. in Kissimmee. She had a 15′ long, 24lb logging chain around her neck. She is severely emaciated with a puncture wound on the top of her head. If you have any information on the owners or suspects responsible for the severe condition of this dog, you are urged to contact Crimeline; you will remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.

Anyone with information is urged to call Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS. If your information leads to an arrest, you may be eligible for a reward.

We have named her Hope, and she has a long recovery ahead. Our plan is to get her back to a normal weight, then treat her for heartworms. After she is rehabilitated, she will be available for adoption. Unfortunately, her condition is such that we still don’t know if she will recover. Help us locate the individuals responsible for this. Together, we can fight animal cruelty.
