Shelter fire recovery

On the evening of September 15, a fire broke out at the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando Conroy Road facility.

Although all of the dogs were rescued from the fire, it appears that a number of cats perished in the devastating blaze. At this time, the animals that were housed in Orlando have been moved to the Pet Alliance Sanford campus where they are being treated for any issues resulting from the blaze. It is estimated that between 50 and 75 percent of the building has been damaged.

Pet Alliance is a valued partner of Osceola County Animal Services and they have assisted us in the past.
