Traps can be reserved on Monday mornings starting at 8 am. You can call us at (407) 742-8000. There is typically a waiting period that we do not control; that is determined by the number of traps available for loan. Traps are issued for a period of one week, and you may pick one up on Monday between 1:00pm and 5:00pm. Traps are issued on a first come, first serve basis.

You must return the trap to the animal shelter before closing at 5:00 the subsequent Friday. Failure to return the trap by the designated day will result in disqualification for borrowing traps in the future.

There is no charge to borrow the trap as long as it is returned without damage. If a trap is missing, it is your responsibility to replace the trap. A trap replacement costs approximately $60.

Proper trapping guidelines must be followed to avoid animals being put at risk of injury or death. You will be required to sign a trap agreement in order to receive a loaned trap.
