 Foster Update: Jax 🐾

Jax has been with me for six weeks and has settled into home life beautifully. He’s a sweet, affectionate, very smart boy who has been an absolute pleasure to foster. He enjoys meeting new people and greets visitors politely without jumping.

At around two years old, Jax has a great balance of energy and downtime. He loves to play, go for walks, and definitely benefits from daily exercise and enrichment. He’s also a power chewer, so durable toys are a must. After activity, he’s happy to relax, curl up nearby, or even watch TV—one of his funny little quirks is that he’ll sit and watch along, especially when Dog TV is on.

Jax is very people-oriented and likes to stay close to his family, whether that’s hanging out in the living room or settling in nearby at night.

He is potty trained, knows “sit” and “paw,” and has had free roam of the house from day one without being destructive. He loves people, enjoys baths and playing in the water, and has done well with other dogs. I think he would really enjoy having a canine companion in his next home.

He’s been a wonderful foster, and it’s been fun watching his personality continue to shine.

Another Foster Update

🐾 Foster Update: Jax 🐾

Jax has now been with me for five months, and I can honestly say he has been an absolute joy to foster. The more time I spend with him, the more his sweet, funny, and unique personality shines through. He really is the affectionate, smart, well-mannered boy I described in my first update, and getting to know him better has only made me appreciate him more.

Jax has a great balance of playful energy and relaxation. He loves attention, enjoys being around his people, and is just as happy playing and being active as he is hanging out nearby and relaxing with the family. He has some funny little quirks that make him special, and he has a way of making himself right at home.

One thing I’ve been especially happy to see is how well Jax does with other dogs. He has been living with a small puppy for the past two months and has done really well with him. He has also spent the last couple of weeks around a much larger dog weighing about 80 pounds, and he has done well with him, too. His experience living with dogs of such different sizes has been great to see!

Jax is potty trained, knows “sit” and “paw,” and has had free roam of the house without being destructive. He enjoys walks, playtime, baths, and playing in the water. He is also a power chewer, so durable toys are a must!

Jax is a very people-oriented boy who loves being close to his family. He has settled into home life beautifully, and his affectionate nature makes him such a wonderful companion.

After five months together, I’ve gotten to see more of who Jax really is, and he has been such a special dog to have in my home. ❤️ He deserves a loving forever family that will appreciate his personality, give him opportunities to play and stay active, and include him as part of the family.

🐶 Jax is ready for a forever home where he can keep being the wonderful dog he is! ❤️
