Alexander is a quiet, affectionate rat terrier mix who’s slowly coming out of his shell in foster care. He loves snuggling on the couch, following his people around the house, and going for long walks — though he’s still a little nervous in the dark!

He naps most of the day, has playful bursts, and politely lets you know when it’s time for a walk. He’s not currently responding to the name “Alexander,” so a new name might suit him better.

He’s forming strong bonds, especially with his foster mom, and just needs a patient, calm home where he can feel safe and continue building trust. He’s sweet, sensitive, and sure to make a lucky family very happy.
