Boots is a 6-year-old pit/chow mix who arrived doing a low army crawl with his tail tucked, fully convinced this was the worst day of his life. Two months later he strolls out on a loose leash, wiggles at the staff, and has turned out to be one very loveable guy. He knows his commands, too, and is happy to show them off. A bottle-baby kitten once screamed in his general direction and he stayed loose and wiggly, which is more composure than most of us have. He does not care for needles and would like that on the record. Boots is choosy about his dog friends, so a proper meet and greet will decide who makes the guest list.
