My name is Otis. As you can see, I am an older guy but I still have lots of love to give. The good thing about being older is that, well, I like to sniff around the yard and then take a nice long nap, maybe under your hammock or on the porch with you. I won’t be chewing up your shoes or ransacking the house. I do enjoy watching Jeopardy but don’t know most of the answers, er, questions. I am willing to learn with gentle guidance. My thyroid is a little underactive just like me but I have meds to help. I will bring a month’s supply with me if you take me home.
The shelter has a lot of dogs right now and I am worried that because of my age, I will not get chosen. My bones are a little creaky when I first get up so I would greatly enjoy the comfort of a soft dog bed. I bet I could find one from here to bring with me. Most folks like the younger pups but I go for wisdom over looks every time! And remember, there is an ongoing Seniors for Seniors adoption discount.
