Venus is a 2 year old neutered pit bull. He was returned to the shelter due to him having separation anxiety.
Venus needs a home with someone who has experience with a dog with this type of anxiety and is willing to work with him on training. We will have a training plan set up for him and we are looking for someone to continue working with him.
Venus is good with female dogs and some male dogs, so it is best if you have another dog to schedule a meet and greet.
We recommend a home with no small children at this time.
If you are interested in adopting this featured pet, you must come to the facility and meet the animal. Once you have decided to adopt, you will complete all or most of the paperwork, including payment, online.

All dog and cat adoptions include:

first set of shots for the pet and
the first pet license.

Cats: $65
Dogs: $80
Small animals: $10
Horses: $150*
* Livestock will also require a home visit prior to adoption. Space, facilities, and knowledge of the species are required. An appointment is required to view livestock for possible adoption.
