Team position title:	Social Media
Required prerequisites	all animal care basics modules complete permission of department team
Position description	Development and/or marketing experience preferred Experience with basic computer applications Collaborate with other staff, including the director
Other attributes required	ability to edit/email photos access to the internet and email access to a camera at least 18 years of age share ideas organization skills
Other position details	As a Social Media Volunteer, you will help raise awareness for our shelter and the animals we care for by creating and managing engaging content on our social media platforms. Your role will involve telling the stories of our animals, promoting adoption events, and spreading the word about the important work we do to support the shelter’s mission. A weekly commitment is highly valued and preferred, as consistency helps us maintain a strong and active online presence. This is an excellent opportunity for college students looking to gain hands-on experience in social media, marketing, or digital communications while making a meaningful impact in the community.
