Other position details

Fostering is a vital part of our shelter’s lifesaving work, where volunteers temporarily care for animals in their homes until they’re ready for adoption. Foster pets might include young kittens or puppies, animals recovering from surgery, or dogs who need a calm space to build confidence. As a foster, you provide daily care, love, and a safe environment—while we supply the food, medical care, supplies, and staff support. No special experience is required, just time, patience, and a willingness to help. Fostering not only frees up space at the shelter, it gives animals a much better chance at finding their forever homes.
