Other position details

Foster Care Training is different from other facets of the shelter in that interested people may begin fostering as soon as the online module(s) have been completed. Please note: both cats and dogs need to be fostered, but the majority of the animals requiring this service are cats and kittens.

Animal Services will provide all food, equipment and medication required. Any equipment or medical expenses that the foster incurs without the permission of shelter staff will not be reimbursed.

Current volunteers in good standing do not need to complete the foster application, but should speak with the Volunteer Coordinator.
