Team position title:	Teen Program
Required prerequisites	application complete and submitted parent permission submitted using Volgistics module complete volunteers & mentors module complete
Position description	assist the staff with daily functions cleaning and maintaining facility put away and organize donations possible clerical assistance there will be no direct dog contact
Other attributes required	access to the internet and email at least 16 years of age availability to attend on-site, hands-on training lift 10 pounds lift 30 - 50 pounds
Other position details	As a Teen Volunteer at our shelter, you'll have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of animals while gaining valuable experience. This role is perfect for young individuals who are passionate about animal welfare and want to contribute to a meaningful cause. You’ll assist with various tasks, including helping care for animals, supporting events, and engaging in outreach activities. The teen program runs in two semesters: Summer and Fall terms, providing flexibility and structure for volunteers to participate during the school year or summer break.
