As a Veterinary Volunteer, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting the health and well-being of shelter animals by assisting veterinary staff during surgery days (Tues-Thurs) with tasks like prepping animals and monitoring recovery and performing non-surgical duties (Mon & Fri) such as cleaning, administering medicated baths, and general animal care. You’ll also help with inventory and maintaining a clean workspace while providing gentle, stress-reducing handling. This role offers valuable exposure to veterinary procedures, teamwork with licensed professionals, and insight into shelter operations. Scheduling depends on availability, with surgical support midweek and non-surgical tasks at the start and end of the week. Passionate, dependable volunteers eager to learn are encouraged to apply.
