Required prerequisites	all animal care basics modules complete application for position required (see below) dog bathing compete kitten care module complete vet intern module complete
Position description	Conduct daily animal health checks Stock supplies Prepare surgical areas Prepare animals for surgery Observe surgeries Conduct surgical follow ups Assist fosters
Other attributes required	access to the internet and email at least 16 years of age
Other position details	All vet suite volunteers must have met all of the basics training guidelines and be recommended by team leadership or their school vet tech program instructor. Veterinary volunteers are bound by their scheduled days and times of service.This is a very selective opportunity. Students are generally given priority in scheduling.
