Reminders
► It is recommended that teen volunteers bookmark this page as it is not listed in the Volunteer Team Site pages.
► Assignment completion will be checked by the Program Coordinator every three weeks.
► Students who have not completed any assignments in that time period will be deactivated.
► All of the modules must be completed by the final program due date to receive your final hours report.
Program Assignments
Assignment 1
Account set up & Shelter Basics
Log in to Volgistics, our volunteer management program. The Program Coordinator will send you a link to set your password that will allow you to access our resources.*
* The password information for Volgistics is only sent to volunteers Monday – Friday.
► Add a profile photo of yourself (Clear photo of your face as if you would use for an ID)
► Opt into text messaging (Volgistics, our volunteer management system, sends no-reply text messages for reminders)
Complete the Shelter Basics online learning module.
Access is through Volgistics by:
► opening your Volgistics home page
► clicking on Learning Modules (you will do this for all modules)
► select and compete Shelter Basics

Using Volgistics module
► Log in to Volgistics
► Complete the Using Volgistics module
Assignment 3
Dog Care module
► Log in to Volgistics
► Complete and submit the Dog Care online module
Assignment 4
Cat Care module
► Log in to Volgistics
► Complete the Cat Care learning module
Assignment 5
Canine Communications module
► Log in to Volgistics
► Complete the Canine Communications learning module
