Other position details	Prerequisites: Due to the responsibilities involved, candidates must be approved by shelter staff before beginning in this role. Prior volunteering experience with animals or within our organization is highly preferred. Shelter Volunteers play a vital role in the daily care and support of animals housed in our facility. This is an advanced-level volunteer position designed for individuals who have demonstrated a strong commitment to animal welfare, reliability, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Duties may include cleaning, enrichment, handling, and providing basic care without staff supervision.
