Required prerequisites	cat care module complete cat basics complete
Position description	live training with team mentor minimum two supervised cat care practice sessions
Other attributes required	access to the internet and email at least 16 years of age availability to attend on-site, hands-on training
Other position details	As a Cat Care Volunteer, you will play a key role in ensuring the well-being of the cats in our care. Your responsibilities will include providing daily care, offering enrichment activities, and helping maintain a clean and comfortable environment for the cats. You’ll have the opportunity to interact with cats, help them feel safe, and assist in preparing them for adoption into loving homes. Advanced opportunity: Helping our Community Cat Program is an available position when volunteers complete their Cat Basics Training. This position assists with important behind-the-scenes tasks such as organizing supplies, cleaning cages, and helping care for feral cats. If interested, please alert the Programs Department.
