Team position title:	Adoption specialist
Required prerequisites	application for position required (see below) cat care module complete cat basics complete dog care module complete dog basics complete dog bathing compete guest care module complete guest care training complete guest care lead designation nomination by team member recommendation of staff
Position description	show dogs, cats and other adoptable pets be able to answer difficult questions complete adoption checklists and respond to answers as needed discuss possible options refer difficult clients to appropriate personnel work with front desk staff
Other attributes required	at least 18 years of age lift 30 - 50 pounds not allergic to animals not allergic to cleaning products walk distances work with the public share ideas organization skills
Other position details	An adoption specialist assists the front desk team with the adoption of animals from the shelter.to their new, permanent homes. Please contact the volunteer coordinator for further information, or email her at tami.solano@osceola.org.
